Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research
Part of the Met Office, this site provides a focus in the United Kingdom for the scientific issues associated with climate change.
NASA's Changing Global Land Surface
Explores the effects the greenhouse has on environment. Includes, the carbon cycle, global warming, the impact on vegetation and glaciers with examples from satellite images.
Ozone hole is 'biggest on record' 
This year's Antarctic ozone hole is the largest on record, according to US government scientists. The "hole" is a severe depletion of the ozone gas layer in the upper atmosphere that protects life on Earth by blocking ultraviolet rays from the sun.
The EPA Global Warming Site 
An extensive site on the Greenhouse Effect (global warming), investigating: the climate system, environmental impact, and the actions that can be taken to avert problems.

Ozone depletion
 
BBC NEWS | Major ozone loss over Antarctic 
New readings from the European satellite Envisat suggest that this year's southern hemisphere ozone hole may be one of the largest on record. The hole covers an area of 10 million sq km (four million sq miles) - approximately the same size as Europe. 
 
Ozone Depletion Resource Center
